Search inside a guide with result snippets and line numbers. Open Contents built from the guide's headings, save custom sections for recurring places, and return to recent jumps while playing.

Bring a personal guide.

  1. Add the game from the catalog or create it manually.
  2. Choose Import TXT and select one or more plain-text files from Files.
  3. Open the imported guide and choose Reflow, Wrap, or No Wrap from Reading Settings.

A whole folder can also be previewed before import. Matches, duplicates, and items needing review remain visible before anything enters the library.

Can supported online guides be saved?

Supported guide pages can be opened from inside the app and saved as a clean text snapshot for private offline reading. The source stays attached. Retro Game Guides is not affiliated with GameFAQs, GameSpot, Fandom, or any guide-hosting website, and saved material remains subject to the source site's terms and the guide author's rights.

What stays offline?

Imported and saved guides, Standard Editions, library organization, in-guide search, reading progress, favorites, and custom sections work on-device. Finding a new guide online, loading cover art, and making a purchase require a connection when used.
