Quick answers for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

How do I open the blue magical doors?
Buy Jewel of Open from the Master Librarian in the Long Library, then confirm it is on in the Relics menu. After his first conversation, approach him again to open the shop. Sell gems through Sell Gem, then use Buy Item. If you are short of money, break candles and defeat enemies for drops, then return; the Castle Map and other early purchases are optional.
Why is the upper passage in the inverted Clock Room closed?
It opens when all five Vlad relics are owned. Check the Relics menu for Ring, Tooth, Eye, Rib and Heart of Vlad. Recover any missing piece from its route section, then return to the inverted Clock Room; the clock chimes and opens the upper passage. Fly into it to continue.

Open the inverted castle without defeating Richter

Pair the Gold and Silver Rings, obtain the Holy Glasses, and equip them before entering the throne room. The glasses reveal the real target above Richter.

  • Equip the Holy Glasses before the fight.
  • Attack only the green orb above Richter.
  • Stop and reposition whenever the orb overlaps his body.
