Preserve the route at Richter

The throne-room choice determines whether the inverted castle opens. The guide secures both rings and the Holy Glasses first, then targets only the revealed orb so Richter survives and the complete route continues.

From the guide

Open the Inverted Castle Safely

Equip the Holy Glasses before entering the throne room. Attack only the green orb above Richter, stop whenever it overlaps his body, and reposition before striking again. Destroying the orb preserves Richter and opens the route into the second castle.

Directions use save rooms, teleport rooms, room shapes, and visible landmarks instead of unexplored-percentage targets. Required purchases and retained equipment are called out before they matter, while optional dead ends stay outside the main route.
