How do I take Level 29’s timed secret exit?

In the flashing red room behind the hidden wall, use the left opening and clear the enemies around the Plasma Gun alcove. Memorize the alcove before starting the timer.

  • Cross to the opposite end of the room and turn left. The middle of the three red torches is a switch.
  • Press that torch and immediately run back to the Plasma Gun alcove; its floor lowers only briefly.
  • Drop into the revealed pit and step onto the teleporter. Confirm the tally screen names The Marshes as the next map.

If the floor rises before you arrive, return to the torch and retry. If the ordinary exit sends you to Level 30, reload your recorded Level 29 password for another attempt.
