Speak with Monty in his basement on Fortuna’s west side. At night, use the lane behind the bank to reach the Old Curiosity Shop in the northwest corner and buy the wagon for 300 gold. Eligible monsters can then ask to join after battle. Recruitment is random, and the hero must meet the species’ minimum level; do not wait for a particular monster before continuing.
Where is Bianca’s Ribbon if it is missing from the bag?
The ribbon cannot be discarded. Check each member’s equipment, including monsters left with Monty. To give it to the hero from the bag, press X, choose Items, then Bag, select the ribbon, choose Transfer and pick the hero.

What is a dependable late-game party without rare recruits?
Use the hero, Parry, Madchen and a developed physical fighter such as Saber, a Slime Knight or Sancho. Parry maintains Insulatle and heals; Madchen supplies Oomph, Kasap and attack magic as those spells become available. The hero attacks and provides backup healing. Keep trained reserves in the wagon for areas that allow substitutions.
